		<description>Bamboo does not spread relentlessly if it is properly contained and maintained.  Also, if one is fortunate enough to live where temps do not get below 25F then they can grow many of the tropical clumpers, which slowly grow outwards year after year.  Runners on the other hand certainly can get out of control and become invasive, but again, using rhizome barrier and proper grove maintenance will keep the bamboo contained for life.</description>
