Few 5.8ghz phones come close to the performance (combination of clarity & physical range) of the latest DECT 6.0 models. The Gigaset SL785 has now arrived in the U.S.

I would suggest buying a 5.8Ghz cordless phone instead. Alas one of the leaders, Panasonic is discontinuing 5.8ghz and moving to all DECT.

Where can I buy any of the Green Gigaset DECT cordless phones?
Or is there another cordless phone option where the radiation is not on continuously?
