But you started the article with talking about replacing concrete with pavers. So the stuff you already have is just as bad. You're not changing that. And it's not like there are very many other alternatives for hardscapes. So until they design a hardscape material made out of recycled seaweed, permeable pavers are about the most eco-friendly material you can use.
