Solar Day is Saturday June 19, 2010, a Nationwide day to learn about Solar Energy. A day of recognition for solar energy, energy independence and protection of the planet. Check your local area for events, solar home tours, etc. San Francisco has a Green Energy Fair on Saturday, June 26, 2010.

Hi,
I just wanted to point out that the SF Green Energy Fair is happening on June 26th, 10am-3pm (and NOT June 19th). There will be solar water heating tours, and free energy workshops throughout the day at the California Academy of Sciences. The schedule is below.

Green Energy Fair Workshops

Workshops will be held in the Board Room at the California Academy of Sciences, which is accessed through the Business Reception entrance on the southeast side of the building, enter off of Middle Drive. From the green energy fair exhibitor area at the park bandshell, walk up the Shakespeare Path on the southwest side of the building and take a left.
