They fulfilled the rebate in only 2 weeks. Green your home and get cash back. Most rebates run through December 31 or while funding is available.

Federal Energy Efficiency Tax Credit

Do you offer or are you planning on offering a rebated for the replacement of lights with LED bulbs?

  3. Norman F Says:

Sorry, TXU has very few energy efficiency rebates. Nothing for LED bulbs, although you will save money over the life of this long lasting bulb.

  4. Laurin Linson Says:

Do you offer (or will you be offering) a rebate or incentive for replacing cooling and heating equipment with energy-efficient models?

    Laurin,

Please call (855) 287-5132 and ask them this question with specific models of items you want to install.

We are remodeling our kitchen and bath. All new lighting and new appliances. Also replaced the HVAC and water heater. Are there any rebates for this type of work?

    Thanks,

TXU unfortunately has no rebates in this area.

I am an existing TXU customer with my house monthly bills set up for auto pay. I just replaced one of my home air conditioners (outdoor condenser unit and coils in attic) , which changed from an ol SEER rating of 10 to a new SEER rating of 14 to 15.
are there any rebate programs going on for replacing old home units with new energy efficient units?

  9. James R Says:

Sorry, TXU does not have rebates on air conditioners.

  10. Kristin C Says:

TXU offered nothing on my brand new system install while my friends in other parts of Austin reaped great rewards. TXU offered nothing when I updated all lighting fixtures from incandescent and fluorescent to LEDs while again, friends in Austin earned 50% of bulb cost in rebates. I am researching ways to leave TXU as their KwH is the highest in the land!

Do you have a rebate/tax credit program. I am replacing HVAC to energy efficient heat pump
